Time for the park & a visit with family

It's been a long time since I've posted anything new. It's so tough to keep up with the blog now a days. We have so many ways of sharing pictures (i.e Facebook)...that my poor Charlotte's web gets neglected. But here are a few shots from our trip to the new park by our home.

Riding in style with Daddy.

We also spent some time with Buna Susy, Ezra, and Addisen. It is so fun to play with Ezra. He's such a smart kiddo. We played the hot and cold game for a good 45 minutes. For those of you who are living in a cave and have never played the hot/cold game---this is how it goes. You take an object (in this case it was a tiny red car) and one of you hides it. The other person has to try and find it by your clues of yelling, "hot or cold". The best part was how creative Ezra got in hiding the car and then of course his clues. "You're boiling...boiling and...You're so frozen!" I loved it. That kept him entertained for a long time---while Charlie and Addie spent time with Grandma.

It's been a while...and guess who's talking

I know it's been a long time since I've added any photos of Charlotte. Here are a few from our visit at our new and FREE water park 15 minutes a way by foot.

She was a little fearful at first but then she got very brave and I couldn't keep her away from all the cool sprinklers. She loved it.

After the water park fun....Charlie was in a very talkative mood.

Life has been super busy but we've all been enjoying the long summer days and trying to soak up all the free time we have with family time.

The little girl in The Little Gym

This past weekend Katie and her daughter Kayden, invited Charlotte and I to "best friends week" at Little Gym. It was so cute to see all these little kiddos learning to play together and following the rules of room.

Me and the Katester

The session starts out with getting warmed up in the circle. Walking, running, and jumping.
Katie and Kayden, Charlotte and I.
Big upside-down hug from mommy. Then it's time to play with bouncy balls.Eat your heart out Kobe! She was not happy about putting the balls away.Moving on to the other gym apparatus. The next photos are by far my absolute favorite. The teacher asked Charlotte if she'd like to try to tumble (your basic somersault). I warn you the photos look worse that it actually was. Here she is...all ready to go. She put her cute little feet on the stickers and put your hands on the "x"s and then on the count of 3 the teacher and Raresh rolled her over.
This looks just awful. She looks terrified.
We had a great time. Thanks for including us for best friends week.
Then we enjoyed some fun in the sun. She loves daddy's hat.She grabbed Raresh's hat and put it on. It was so cute!

4th of July 2009

Wow---I can't believe 4th of July came and went. Time is flying very fast. Anyway, this past weekend we enjoyed time with family and friends doing what we love to do... hang out in the backyard and BBQ.
Friday, we had our good friends Katie and Tim (who are getting married in about 3 weeks) come by. It was so fun seeing them. Raresh and I are looking forward to going to their wedding up in San Luis Obispo area for my birthday weekend. It will be a much needed getaway for the Isai's.

Then on Saturday we hosted a pool party/BBQ for both of our families and some close friends. It was a great day. We enjoyed the great weather, spend time with one another and were able to see some great fireworks from our grotto. We allowed the kids to climb on top of it and they were just thrilled.

By Sunday, we were pooped.

All in all...great weekend.

My adorable family.I swear...we like to think we're on vacation in our backyard...that's all we can afford. ha haI could just eat them both up. I love my sweet babies. This year...our family has committed to getting as many photos of the kids when we are all together. So here we go again. This time Buna (grandma) is the lucky one.Okay...why does my hair look so bad and my sister's look so great? Oh I know...she was too chicken to jump of the grotto into the pool. Ha ha---not really...she just had good hair that day. If my hair looked good that day---no grotto jumping for me either! hee hee hee
