Happy 2nd birthday my sweet Charlotte!!!

2 years ago around 8am...I had been a mother for about 6.5 hours. I don't remember exactly what I was doing right at 8am but I do know I was beaming with joy and excitement at the fact that I finally got to hold you in my arms. I remember Raresh and I would just look at you and at each other and smile. 2 years today---life is better than I expected. You are just the most amazing little girl. You're funny, smart, talented and so friendly. I couldn't have asked for a better package!

So Lord...I will never ever be able to express enough thanks and gratitude for this precious gift!

Charlotte Jane---Mommy and Daddy love you so much! Get ready for a terrific second year! The best present is yet to come. A playmate for life will be arriving in about 3 months.
Happy Birthday!

I love you!

The weekend before you turned 2.

This past weekend, 4 days before Charlotte bug turns the big 2--we went to celebrate her buddy, Sandrine's birthday. It was a beautiful day for a party and we had a great time.

Raresh also managed to take a little trip to Bass Pro Shop with his little girl and when I got home...this was how I found her. Head to toe in Mossy Oak pattern. Who's ready for a huntin' trip??? Charlotte is!Then Daddy got very silly and I had to take his picture...I was laughing so hard.Next Charlotte wanted to try. Too bad the picture is blurry.
It was a good weekend. Just 2 more days until Charlotte turns 2. WOW---where did the time go?

Some updates on our little Charlotte

So...it's been a while since I've just jotted down some funny things Charlotte is doing these days. She's about 3 weeks away from her 2nd birthday and these are the stats...

She weighs 25lbs.
She's a very picky eater.
Her favorite hairdo is her little pig tails. She's not much into the bows so the little pig tails are about the only thing she doesn't pull out.
She still puts everything in her mouth.
She has a weird fascination with baby wipes. We always have to give her one to play with while we change her.
She is close to potty training...but not quite there yet (I think I'm the one holding her back--just cause I'm too tired to really deal with it right now).
She loves the swings.
She can say the entire alphabet and identify the letters. In fact, anywhere we go she yells out letters she sees.
She knows all her colors (even pink, brown, and gray).
She can count to 10 in English and Romanian. We count going up and down the stairs every day.
She loves planes, helicopters, the moon...basically anything in the sky.
She loves animals.
She loves the I'm a Barbie Girl song by Aqua (my fault entirely)--she asks for it all the time.
She loves that horrible Yo Gabba Gabba...especially the "Hold Still" song.
We are currently working on our shapes.
She points to tummies and says, "bruh-der"---not quite sure she gets that only mommy has a brother in there!
Some of the adorable and hysterical things she says are:
Strawbaby---for strawberry
Bikeysal-for bicycle
Cowck--for Quack
Ohjeej-for Orange

That's about it. Baby brother is doing fine. I'm 25 weeks along and getting very excited to meet him. We have a name picked out...but it shall remain a secret. If by some strange change I've slipped and said it...ignore it and don't repeat it! I really want my loved ones to be surprised.
