Matchy Matchy

Yesterday, after visiting the Pop family, we went to the Christmas Concert at the Romanian Church. It was very nice. Charlotte and I matched with our little leopard outfits. Raresh was thrilled I didn't buy him a leopard print tie---cause he knows I would have insisted he wear it. Do they even make leopard print ties? I hope not! Here we are all matchy matchy--

Then we took a picture with my sissy and her son, Spencer.

Afterward we bundled Charlotte up and took a photo of her in her Santa hat (thanks Suzy). Ho ho ho and Merry Christmas everyone.

Elliot David Pop---Welcome to the world!

My cousin Viorela and her hubby Chris just had another baby. His name is Elliot. He is super cute! His big sister Vivian is so adorable, too. Here we are visiting them.

Viorela says Elliot is a great baby. Although, this photo doesn't show that. I don't think he liked me very much. Poor baby. He was hungry. Can't help you there kiddo!

Here we are: Elliot, me, Viorela and Charlotte.

Little Vivian was sleeping when we came over. She did wake up and I was able to get a photo of her. She's so cute. I can't believe she's a big sister.

Charlotte and Dominic update

It's been a long while since Charlotte and Dominic hung out. So Lori and I thought it was time they have a "date". Here they are at the Fitness Grill. (What good taste Charlotte and Dominic have in restaurants.)

Call me biased but these kids are so cute!

Princess Party

Last Saturday we celebrated Amanda's 4th birthday and she had a princess party. All the girls looked so cute.. Amanda was Sleeping Beauty and Charlotte helped her celebrate.

Since there are no princess dresses that come in her size she came dressed as another famous Disney character....

Spencer looked so cute in his white sweatre and khaki's. He was definitely our little prince!

Thanks Nikki--- for letting us borrow the outfit...it was a huge hit!

Introducing...my 2 favorite people

Ta da...
Now a little moment of true sappy romance (which I fall for every time)--Last night I got home only to find this on our kitchen table.---Raresh is so sweet and still manages to surprise me. Of course he'll deny it---so I had to get a picture of it. It really made me smile. Thanks honey, I love you forever, too!

Romanian patty cake anyone???

Unfortunately, I've been trying to post this video right side up--but I've had no success so far...so for now...enjoy it sideways and just turn your head. I'll try and fix it at a later time.

Anyway--this is what us Romanians call "Pattycake"--we basically say, "Doa Doa Doa" pronounced--"Dough-A" and then kids clap their doa (two) hands together. Not nearly as fun and exciting and the American version but whatever!

Also, for those of you wondering why I'm not in the shot--I basically asked Raresh to keep me out. I was not in any shape to be seen at this very moment--so you hear my crazy "singing" and laughing and the rest well--just use your imagination.

Today Charlotte met a skinny Santa

Looks like Santa dropped a few pounds in 2008. Good for him. Charlotte liked seeing him either way. Here are the 3 shots we got of the 2 of them.

In the first shot, Charlotte is grabbing on to his beard. Silly Charlotte.

The second shot she's trying to figure out who is making all that noise. The photo crew was ringing bells, clapping, calling her name and trying all kinds of other things to get her to look at them. No wonder the kid looks dazed.

In the final photo we have a smiley girl but she's smiling at mommy and daddy rather than the photo crew. Oh well---maybe next year. At least she wasn't terrified.

It's been a while...

Hi all,
It's been a while since I last posted. Lots going on. Here is a quick recap. Thanksgiving was great. We went to both sides of the family and enjoyed spending time together and giving thanks for all the wonderful things the Lord has blessed us with. We also enjoyed the extra time off from work and did some decorating for Christmas. Here are some photos.
First, we spent some time with Charlotte's buddy Kayden. These little girlies are so cute!

Then we went to Knott's Berry Farm...

Then mommy tried to get some fun shots of Charlotte...Call me crazy----but in this one shot of the 2 of us---I think she finally looks a lot like me.Wow---that didn't last long. She looks just like Raresh in this one. Here is a family shot from Thanksgiving.

Happy 6th Anniversary!

It's been 6 amazing and wonderful years for the Isai's. On November 2nd, 2002 Raresh and I exchanged vows in front of God, our wonderful Creator and Father, and in front of our dear family and friends and promised to love, honor, and respect one another til death do us part. Raresh, honey, thank you for an amazing life together and for being a wonderful husband and now father! I didn't think it was possible but I love you more and more with each day that passes.
Just think...in 6 years we moved 2 times, traveled quite a bit, and most importantly had our precious little daughter.

We went out to a lovely dinner on Sunday night at the Chart House in Newport Beach. It was so beautiful and so yummy!
While we were enjoying dinner and wonderful conversation and adult time---Charlotte was break dancing at home with Auntie Rachel! Silly girl

Dress up Days

I'm not a big Halloween person. Never have been. Yeah, I'll occasionally attend a party or get creative but I wasn't very interested in spending money on a Halloween costume for Charlotte. Instead, I decided we would play dress up on October 31st and see how creative Mama Linda can get with costume ideas. Here was the result.

Around 10am--we dressed up as a bride...

Yes, she's barefoot---she must plan on getting married at the beach!

Around 11:00ish she was a movie star...--not quite sure which movie star--but none the less---doesn't she look like a star?!

Then around 5:00pm she was a cowboy--yes a cowBOY not a cowgirl---cause without her jean skirt she definitely looked like Charlie--not Charlotte. Here we are attending another
Fall Fest at a church in Yorba Linda. We went with the Heapy family and had so much fun.

and then at the end of it all ---we called it a night. Good night everyone!

Our little Punkin' at a Pumpkin Patch

Here are some photos from Charlotte's first official outing to a local pumpkin patch. Funny---I don't remember having this when I was a kid. (Not that my parents would have taken us--but still). She had a ball in her little black kitty onesie.
