Dad's birthday

This post is a little late but my dad's birthday was May 30th and so the entire family went over to my parents house for a BBQ. I personally think my parents have a large home. BUT, when you pile in 4 married children (8 adults--10 inclucing my parents) and 7 grandkids...that home becomes extremely small and very fast.
We first started with some photos of the most recent additions to the family. I tried to select which ones to post, but they were all so cute that I just included all of them.
Here is Charlotte, Addisen, and Spencer

Here are a few shots of all the cousins.
Amanda, Spencer, Ryan, Addisen, Ezra, Charlotte, and Kyle
Proud Grandpa (Bunu) and all his kiddos.

Charlotte...very mad that we tried to get a photo without her pacifier.

Happy Birthday Dad! You are a terrific Dad and a very loved Grandpa!

Father's Day Weekend

First off, A VERY BIG HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the wonderful dads out there. Especially to my dad for all the sacrifices he made for his family and for all his love and support. He is one terrific dad--if I do say so myself. I also want to acknowledge my father-in-law, Alex, for raising a wonderful man which I'm privileged to be married to. And last but certainly not least...A big virtual kiss and hug to my baby daddy (ha ha). You are an amazing father and a terrific partner in crime. I love you to pieces sweet hubby.

The weekend was very busy...some quick updates.

MUSTY(moosty- the little mustache Raresh was growing-- is gone ...gone baby gone.) He didn't grow it the entire 30 days and I couldn't be more thrilled. He basically said, "No one wants to continue so we're just shaving them off today." Thank you fellas for coming to your senses. Unfortunately, he didn't even let me get one photo of it. He came down stairs with a Charlie Chaplin/Hitler type thing and then after my initial shock of that-- he shaved the entire thing off. Woo hoo!

Now on to the weekend.

Friday, we went to Bass Pro Shop. It was great to see little Charlie notice all the animals (even though they were dead and stuffed). The rest of the day we chilled at home and went swimming. It was so relaxing.
Saturday, I went to a graduation party and then I met Raresh and Charlotte up at Uncle Nate's birthday. It was nice to hang out and watch Charlotte play with Landon and Luke. You will notice some photos of Charlotte with her "magic leaf"---so cute!
Luke---finally woke up and joined the fun.Priceless face. Absolutely priceless.
Sunday, we went to church and then celebrated Father's day with both sides of the family. It was very hectic but nice. Raresh and I also joined the Gocan's for sushi that night. Ohhhh boy...oh boy...I do love sushi.

Well, that's about it for now.

2 crazies and a copy cat

I mentioned yesterday that my little kiddo is doing some funny stuff lately and I promised videos. Well, I think the 2 crazies...my mom and I... are way more entertaining than Charlotte's new tricks.

In the first video, we are trying to get her to copy us coughing and then copy us making a weird sound with our finger and our lips. She does both tricks...but I think we went a tad overboard.

In the second video, we're trying to get her to touch her nose when she hears "teet teet". Again, I think she starts fussing because she's annoyed at us. She doesn't quite do this trick but she does a modified version...which we'll accept.

Isai Family Updates

So... I feel like it's been a while since I've posted anything on the Isai family. Basically, we're all doing okay. My sweet hubby Raresh is growing a mustache, which I've appropriately named Musty (pronounced mooosty). Why is he growing musty you ask??? Because his entire group of co-workers (with the exception of 2 that apparently can't physically grow a mustache) committed to growing a mustache for 30 days. It started May 30th and I have 14 more days of this nonsense. I'm not a huge fan. Raresh promises me that once day 30 hits (June 30th) ...it's off his face and out of the house but somehow...I think he's getting attached. I will, of course, post some pictures. (In fact, you can kinda see it in the pictures I've included of Charlotte below.)

As for Charlie...she's hysterical. She currently has 4 upper teeth, 2 bottom, and 1 bottom molar. She walks all over the place. Literally, she walks around the house all day long. She looks like a little old lady carefully crossing the street. However, the cautious little old lady act is quickly fading as she's quickly gaining speed.
The other fun things she's been doing include, looking up and waving when she hears a plane, or a lawnmower (which she thinks is a plane) or any other loud thing that sounds like a plane. She copies everything you do. The other day I practically choked on my water and started coughing like a mad woman and I hear her coughing wildly. I'll have to get some video up of her doing the silly things.

As for me...working and enjoying the time I have at home with my family. Nothing too exciting to report.

Here are a few photos of Charlotte and some even include Musty.
We're trying to limit her passy time--some days she forgets all about it...other days she needs it. Today was a "need it" day.

Charlie, Daddy and Musty (I noticed when he has the stubble on the rest of the face it doesn't look to bad---it's when he has a clean shaven face that makes me cringe. I love my sweet little hubby but the musty has got to go... (notice...Charlie doesn't like it either!)

I'll try and add a video of Charlotte walking soon.

Little blue dress

Charlie got a very cute dress from my cousins in Texas when she was born that she just now fits into. I love these gifts that keep giving. I remember opening the present...seeing this dress and thinking "This is so Bohemian! This is so cute!" I couldn't wait for her to be old enough to wear it. Well, that time came and boy did it come quick. Of course, I had to get a picture of her wearing it because I'm sure just as quickly as she grew into it...she'll grow out of it.

Of course, my little Charlie was not in a picture taking mood---but I got a few that are decent.

We need to incude the back view (of course)And...we're done...And seconds later...we're all better. Funny how quickly the water works come on and off. Oh dear, already the drama!

Long Beach Aquarium

Okay, so Raresh & I decided to take our little animal lover to see some sea animals at the Long Beach Aquarium. Apparently, we picked the busiest day of the year to visit. I think every kid within a 20 mile radius was there. Good grief.
However, we still had a great time. I warn you, there are a lot of photos.
I love this photo of her little head watching the sea lions. Here she is by the puffins.Big Jelly Fish...I love how her finger is up against her cheek as she is observing what the puffins are doing.By far...my favorite photos were her by the colorful coral.
We had a wonderful time, seeing God's beautiful creation and seeing our little creation explore all the beautiful things around her. She was very curious about all the things she saw.
