Baby Brother on the way...

The Isai's are elated to report that Zainy 2.0 is a boy! We seriously could not believe it when we heard. The last couple of weeks I've been feeling like this little baby is a boy but until you hear those words, "You're having a boy!" You just can't imagine anything other than what you already have. Raresh was thinking we're having a girl.

So there we were at the sonogram school. The school was recommended by my doctor for the impatient people like me. My actual appointment to find out the sex of the baby is still not set up and most likely won't be for another month. So at 16 weeks we decided to try out the school. The students need the practice, it's free, and it was close.

When we walked in the room, I told the 2 girls in there that unless they are pretty sure of what they see---not to say anything. Shortly after they began, they found what they needed and decided to keep checking before anything was officially said.

After they told us, I asked if they were sure enough for me to tell my family and they said, "We are both sure, but we'll call our teacher in to get her opinion." She barely set one foot in the room and said..."Looks like you're having a boy!"

It was awesome! We are still in shock but soooooo happy at the newest little addition. Welcome to the family my sweet little guy. See you in July!

Some photos:
Here is his cute little face (creepy looking but to me...perfect!)Here he is just laying around.---Love love love this shot! And apparently---this one tells me he's a boy! See the little arrow pointing???

Well...I guess she's an animal lover...

This past weeked the Isai family had an animal filled time of adventure. Friday night we went to dinner at some friend's house. They have a dog named, Ava. We really can't tell who was more excited...Ava or Charlotte.

On Saturday, we took a little trip to visit my in-laws. They have a cat named Peetzy which Charlotte loves. As we were all visiting...I noticed Charlotte was gone. We found her in Aunt Mia's room laying on her tummy looking at Peetzy and saying, "meow" before giving her a big kiss. You'll need to shut the music off at the bottom and turn up the volume to hear her soft voice.

Finally, after our trip with Grandma and Grandpa we went over to see my sister and her famly. She has a dog and some chickens. Charlotte kept yelling, "Doggy, Doggy" and saying, "Duckie Duckie". After we corrected her, she began yelling "Chicken".

It's so sweet to see her excitement.

Excitement or not...I'm still not getting a pet. Mmmmkay?

In one hour....

I must have peed 7 times. I'm not kidding. It was around the 5th bathroom visit (Raresh had to pause 24 yet again) that I said, "Honey...you are carrying the next baby!" Then after he laughed, I said..."Don't even mention the word 3rd baby until I'm at least 35."

So sweet Zainy 2.0--I'm sorry...but really...7 times in one hour????

Oh and I know some of you think I'm crazy...or even imaging it..but at 13 weeks, I have felt my sweet little baby kick. It was not gas. IT'S WAS AN ACTUAL KICK!

Soooo exciting!

Here is our little Zainy 2.0

How cute are you???

Charlotte's web is growing bigger!

I'm sure many of you know that we are expecting our second child. It's such an exciting time for our family. I am almost 13 weeks. We found out on 11/13 that we would be having another addition to our family. The due date for this little bundle of joy is my 30th birthday--July 26th.---Just an FYI--Please...don't anyone plan to throw me a huge surprise party unless you want the biggest surprise of your life...my water breaking...or me not showing up. ha ha---There will be plenty of celebrating when the time comes.

It's been too long since I've blogged and this is why.
I'M TIRED!!!! I'm experiencing the normal 1st trimester fatigue PLUS the tiredness of having a very active toddler. But it's definitely time for me to start addressing how I'm feeling, what I'm craving, and what the family's reactions were. After all---baby number 2 is not going to get the short end of the stick and not have the same excitement that Charlotte had...NO WAY!

So little bundle of joy (which we call--Zainy 2.0)--
Mommy did not throw up yet...(bless your sweet little heart)---but I was feeling nauseated the first trimester.
Mommy is tired.
Mommy has to pee---ALL THE TIME. I don't remember this being the case so soon last time. Not really liking that part.
Mommy feels a lot smaller than she did with big sister---however, that might be false, but hey...it's a good feeling to have.
Mommy is not really having a gut feeling of what you are---the way I did with big sister--so that makes me think...Boy.
Mommy hasn't been craving much---however cheese quesadillas and chicken salad sandwiches always sound good.
Mommy and Daddy are beaming with joy and sooooo excited to welcome you into our little family. The Lord has blessed us beyond words.
Charlotte is already kissing my tummy and saying Baby--I can't wait to see the two of you together.

One final detail about our news. We told our parents on Thanksgiving and we decided to have Charlotte wear a big sister shirt and see who notices. Needless to say...my in-laws missed the message entirely and decided her shirt was too thick and hot...so they changed her within 10 minutes of being there. We all had a laugh when they realized what we were trying to do. The only one that got it was soon to be Aunt Jennifer.

My side of the family got it right away...well at least my sisters did. Slowly but surely the news trickled through the house.

So Zainy 2.0---thank you for being such a good baby so far. And Lord--THANK YOU---for giving me everything my heart desired and more. How oh how...will I ever have the right words to show you enough thanks!

Charlotte...you're life is gonna change---but for the better.

Sweet hubby of mine---You are truly my favorite husband! :) I know you get that little joke of ours and I know that says it all.

Until next time..

On Halloween day, the Isai clan got together for breakfast at Storytime Cafe in the Grand Californian Hotel at Downtown Disney. We were all there to celebrate Ruxandra's new job! Congrats Auntie Rux. I'm not a big Halloween person at all...but since I did have a ladybug costume from her first birthday, I figured she can be a cute little bug again for breakfast at Disney.
Here are the Isai's waiting in the lobby for our party to arrive. Sorry, Charlie...but this one is more about me and daddy. Our first Disney character coming to visit our table. First off, I feel bad at not even knowing who this character was. I know it's not Baloo from Jungle Book---so who are you? Big Brown Bear is what they tell me he's called---(yeah I could have guessed that myself!) I guess it's time to start brushing up on my Disney films. Now here's a squirrel I recognize. Dale...yes, I'm sure it's Dale cause he has the red nose and the gap in his teeth. Charlotte had a love hate relationship with him...she seems a tad frightened here.Oh but wait...now she's reaching out to him.Okay no...he's too close to her now!Okay...he can pat my head. Now I will hold your hand.Afterward, Landon and Luke played outside with her.
Oh look it's a lady bug and LandigiSuch a sweet little girl...always making time to stop and smell the flowers!
