The little girl in The Little Gym

This past weekend Katie and her daughter Kayden, invited Charlotte and I to "best friends week" at Little Gym. It was so cute to see all these little kiddos learning to play together and following the rules of room.

Me and the Katester

The session starts out with getting warmed up in the circle. Walking, running, and jumping.
Katie and Kayden, Charlotte and I.
Big upside-down hug from mommy. Then it's time to play with bouncy balls.Eat your heart out Kobe! She was not happy about putting the balls away.Moving on to the other gym apparatus. The next photos are by far my absolute favorite. The teacher asked Charlotte if she'd like to try to tumble (your basic somersault). I warn you the photos look worse that it actually was. Here she is...all ready to go. She put her cute little feet on the stickers and put your hands on the "x"s and then on the count of 3 the teacher and Raresh rolled her over.
This looks just awful. She looks terrified.
We had a great time. Thanks for including us for best friends week.
Then we enjoyed some fun in the sun. She loves daddy's hat.She grabbed Raresh's hat and put it on. It was so cute!

A great weekend filled with some major milestones!

We had a very very busy weekend.
On Friday, we celebrated my friend Jayme's birthday at Matsu Restaurant in Huntington Beach. The sushi was very yummy and we had a great time. Because Jayme hates photos...I'll only include 2 of her on the blog. (one is a group shot...so it doesn't count!) Happy Birthday Jayme! Here's to many many more birthdays!
I just love this man so much.Rachel and I realized we didn't take a photo at the restaurant...so we thought...hey, better late than never. Here she is sitting in Charlotte's humongo car seat...(ha ha)
Saturday, we went to Chris and Stephanie's wedding. What a beautiful wedding that was. We all had a wonderful time celebrating their commitment to one another. God Bless you guys! Unfortunately, I did not get many photos of them. I think I was just so excited to spend time alone with Raresh that the happy couple...kinda slipped my mind. Oh well...
Sunday, we went to Temecula to visit some friends. It was such a nice day for a drive and then a great day to BBQ. Charlotte was not with us on Friday night or at the wedding so it was so great to take her along to Temecula. We missed our little pumpkin.
Boy oh boy did she love playing in that fountain. In this picture you can see, she's totally over the crawling on her knees stage. That didn't last long at all. She now does this weird let me walk on my hands and feet thing.I'm glad she was with us that day cause while in Temecula she got---HER FIRST TOOTH!!! Bottom left. I know...some of you parents out there are thinking...she's going to be 1 in a week and she just got her first tooth?---Yes it is true...her first tooth. It's actually quite fitting...1 tooth for her 1st birthday! Awwwww. I'll try to get a picture of her tooth up on the blog as soon as possible. She's not quite interested in letting me get a good look at it so it's been very difficult to get a photo of it. We've been dealing with on and off teething issues for months so it's so nice to finally see that little pearly white peeking through.

The other major milestone happened yesterday April, 20th. She took her first steps!!! This little girl is now officially on the move! She's of course very stumbly and all over the place but she's getting the hang of it and very quickly! I'll post a video of that soon.
Overall, we had a great weekend.

Weekend Fun

Thursday night the Isai's went to the LA County Fair with our neighbors the Calderon's. We had so much fun and we let loose and finally tried a deep fried twinkie. Holy moly was that good! Anyway, we all had a wonderful time. Here are some photos.

You can tell Charlotte is super excited to be there! Another famous funny face.Daddy's playing peek-a-boo!Here are the girls, Arianna and Charlotte. And big boy Anthony with his mommy, Nikki.-- Just a little funny side note--When the pony in front of him went poop Anthony said a very loud Ewwwwww. The rest of the weekend was also very nice. On Friday I went to MOPS (moms of Preschoolers) at church and then we spent the rest of the Friday with Daddy relaxing and enjoying the time we had together. Saturday, Daddy had to work but I met Lori at the Orange County Swap meet and we had a wonderful time with our kids (once I finally found the darn place). We bought some nice little goodies and then we called it a day. Sunday, I went to church (Daddy was working again) and I worked the nursery. Charlotte, once again, was a little angel so I was able to offer my assistance with some other kiddos that needed some attention. Here are some photos of Charlotte with her exersaucer.
Yes, that is a hair pretty she is wearing. It's hanging on for dear life but its on (without any double stick tape!)
She loves her exersaucer and her hairy pretty.

Now for some floor time. This quilt was made with love by Trudy from work. It's so adorable. Thanks Trudy!

Hope you all had a great weekend.
